Australian born Anne Geddes is a world famous photographer, clothing designer, and businesswoman, living and working in New Zealand. She is known the world over for her typical depictions of motherhood and babies. Babies are found dressed as fairies and fairytale creatures in most of her works. She has become so popular that she is reported to have sold more than 11 million books and 15 million calendars. Anne Geddes was awarded Lifetime Membership in the Professional Photographers of America in 2004. In the same year she was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit. She also has an Honorary Fellowship with the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photographers.
